As a local tree surgeon Sheerness a local church called me to look at some trees that were causing issues. 3 trees were being damaged by high vehicles therefore it had to be done quickly and efficiently. The only viable and safe option was to have a lane closure and 3 way lights in place and use a MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform).
As experienced tree surgeon in sheerness we took care all the necessary permits to get the lane closure. Work was carried out between 09:00 and 15:30 therefore causing less disruption.
At T.D Environmental Services rather than just remove branches to the minimum of 5.2 meters we cut above this. As a result the work doesn’t need doing as soon therefore saving the client money. For more info on legislation on tree over highways click here.
