T.D was recently contacted by a local primary school for tree removal sheerness Kent. This was to undertake two tree removals. The trees to be removed was a poplar and crab apple tree. The school wanted the trees poisoned to prevent any regrowth. We had to be particularly cautious on the herbicide application as young children will be on site. Therefore we suggested eco plugs which is a plug that is inserted into the tree stump. This means neither people, animals or the enviromnent will be exposed to the product.
The school wanted to keep the wood as this will help them maintain flower beds. Our staff was also asked if they could cut up some logs into manageable pieces. The logs will be used as borders, stalls but not only that will provide habitat for insects.
