Tree surveys are an important part in helping to maintain and look after your trees. Whilst a visual inspection could be done by the homeowner on a regular basis, if your trees are in a high risk location such as over a foot path or road; it is recommended you get a qualified and experienced person to survey them. This can often entail a climbing aerial inspection by a suitably qualified arborist as not all defects are visible from the ground.

Trees & The Law
Statute law states that trees and hedgerows are the homeowners responsibility and they must take reasonable care of which he or she could reasonably foresee that may result in harm or an injury.

When carrying out a survey we will provide information on the;

- General health
- Any structural defects present (if any)
From the information gathered during the survey we can then advise you of any recommended work the trees may require (if any). We will advise you if the tree should be removed (or heavily reduced if you wish to retain the tree) and discuss any steps needed to be taken, such as applying for a TPO(Tree Preservation Area) to be lifted. Upon completion of the tree surveys you will receive paper work of all the above with a signature and date of when the survey was carried out.
